About 6 months ago I accidentally saved over the digital pictures that I had from 2004-2007. 🥺 I was so bugged about it. I love pictures and the idea of losing this part of my kids' childhood was annoying, especially because I was the one who saved over the folder. I didn't have a ton because I still preferred film at the time but there were some gems. I had scanned some from photo albums but some of the pictures were just prints from crappy home printer and they didn't scan very well.
Fast forward to today! I was thinking I had to have saved them somewhere. I started looking around today in closets and found a CD backup of the pictures in the fire box! This is Maxine from 2004 and I'm so excited to have the originals again! I'm also grateful I still have an old computer that will read CDs! Our new computer doesn't have one! Maxine is the cutest!
