Have you seen that arch in the gorge? I must be the only one because no one knew what I was talking about. I saw a hiking group was going on the adventure but couldn't attend. I conned the family into a birthday adventure with me. You can barely see it! It begins at mile marker 23 in the gorge.
It doesn't really have a trail. It's more of a 1,000-foot scramble.
We couldn't even decide if we could get all of us up to the top. It felt sketchy.
Some of us weren't so sure but we all ended up at the top.
On top of the arch looks narrow but it's about 10 feet wide. I wasn't worried about anyone falling off.
We took an alternate route down. Again, just a 1,000-foot non-trail to the bottom.
We got done and went to dinner at George's Restaurant. I found a bug on Maxine and I thought it was a spider. Later, I was washing my hair and found the same type of bug. IT WAS A TICK! I made everyone do tick checks. I asked my hiking group about it and they said that some people came back from the hike with ticks. I had no idea we had them in southern Utah. No one had any attached so we're good.
