We celebrated our last lake day on October 11th. Then we put the boat in the back yard for another season. It always makes me a little sad because it means the end of summer. We definitely had our fair share of lake days, averaging at least once a week and sometimes twice a week. For me, it's a great place to sit and hang out with Merril while the kids entertain themselves in the sand and water. I feel totally relaxed when we leave and look forward to the next time. We only ran out of gas once this year and in my opinion, boats should have a reserve tank like motorcycles and four-wheelers.

Hi Jamie! I'm going to link you from my blog, if that's OK! I fought the blog thing for a while, too, but I actually find it to be an easy way to get some things said and done...happy blogging!
Hey there...nice to see ya! I don't know why but blogging is really fun. It makes no sense, I realize that. I think we just need to get Shelly converted now...

LOL Beka about getting Shelly converted!
For me, blogging IS my journaling. I actually plan on getting a binder, and printing out my entries for a journal. For some reason, I can sit down and type my thoughts out. I just can't write them in a book with lines. What gives???
Welcome to blogging. You get more comments than me! (megan never comments on my blog BTW, so feel special)!
