I gave Juliet her first taste of rice cereal and when I got the spoon near her, she grabbed it and tried to bring it to her mouth. It was almost as if she was saying, "Finally! Something for me to eat!!" She's seemed interested in what I've been eating for a couple weeks. She downed her whole bowl of rice cereal and seemed pleased. She'll be 6 months in a couple of weeks and I just keep thinking, "Where did half a year go?" That's all for today!

Lily did that exact same thing (grabbed the spoon) when I gave her her first food. It was like, "ya mom, don't patronize me. I know what to do with that thing."

I love when they first start "solid' food. (BTW, why do they call it solid?? It's definitely not. :) ) Yay for another milestone!
