Juliet cut a tooth yesterday and another bottom tooth is right behind it. I expect she'll have 2 bottom teeth by tonight or tomorrow. So my baby has baby teeth and then I thought, "Bummer. I've got one more set of teeth that need to be cleaned now." I don't have pictures because I didn't really want to post the inside of her mouth.
Other than that, I wanted my blog to look a little different from the one I had, so I started editing the html on my blog. I messed up a thing or two but ended up with what I wanted. So that was fun because I've never messed with the html on anything before. Happy Thursday to ya!

This blog was my first foray into HTML as well-only totally on accident. It's kind of fun, though.
How did you make your banner wide and short? I'd like to try that...
I kept cropping the picture in different ways to match the size I wanted. I made it too narrow one time and too wide another time. (There's probably another way to do it but that's how I did it.
You can do some fun stuff with a little HTML. Way before the popularity and ease of blogs, I had several websites where everything had to be done with HTML. I even have a big book with all of the tags! Of course, a lot of them have changed now because of changes in technology... but the basics are still the same!
Love the new look!
As far as sizing your banner... you probably need to keep that in mind when you are saving it to begin with. In my photoshop program, you can make it a specific width and height (designated by pixels). Then when you are entering in your information into your image tag for your banner, you enter those pixel dimensions. The banner on my blog is 900 pixels wide and 150 high. Of course... because typepad is a "pay for it" blog service, I only need to size my banner correctly in photoshop, and then just upload the banner in my control panel. They make it super easy. I don't know the specifics in blogger...
Have fun playing though!
I was so impressed that you edited the HTML. When I read that I went into my HTML and had NO idea what was going on. So I thought I was stuck with the layouts blogger gives out. THEN another blog I visit told me about www.pyzam.com, which I recommend.
I didn't emphasis SO IMPRESSED, like I meant to.
