*sigh* Merril will be home in about 2 days from now. I seriously feel like he's dead. Since I can't call him, I type into a Word document when I have something to tell him. So far I've got about 2 pages. It's just funny stuff the kids have done, how I'm feeling at the moment, ya know, things I'd normally just call and talk to him about. But we've been doing okay. Maxine went to Grandma's house for a sleepover yesterday so that was nice. I think we'll hit the lake this afternoon because it's such a nice day!! (No, we won't take the boat. I might have considered it but the trim motor isn't working so the prop won't go up or down. Other than that, the boat runs fine!)
And on a nostalgic note, I scanned the photo from our wedding announcement. Hee hee hee. Seriously, who let's kids this young get married? Anybody else used to perm their hair ladies?? Man I love that bike, I mean Merril. :) P.S. Thanks again Jared for the pictures. These were taken with the Canon AE-1 camera that Amy was messing around with on her blog.

Kevin and I took our engagements with a Canon AE-1 with the ten second timer. Memories... Yes! The perm was so in!
Haha... I'm sure Jared knew how to use it since he showed me! Boy did you guys look young. And yes, who lets their kids get married that young! We are nuts! My hair would never take perms. I tried a couple of times in middle school I think... but they would only last a week or two and then completely fall out! I had forgotten that your hair used to be so curly!
Sorry your hubby is out of town, at least it is almost over. I don't miss Tom travelling one week out of every month - when he did that I only got to talk to him for a little bit right before bed. He still travels, but not near as much or for as long. I love the curly hair - I had mine permed a couple of times too. When I look back at my engagement pic I just whish my eyebrows were thinner (ha ha)
I don't know how you've done it husbandless for a week with 3 kids! I am barely making it during the day while Brians at work! And I can still call him! I wish Pinview wasn't 10 a day just to go hang out on the beach or I would be up there everyday! Do you guys just go to Sand Hollow?
I was just thinkng about that bike today. (At least I assume it's the same one since it was right around the time you guys started dating.)I liked your hair curly. :) Maybe that's just me feeling nostalgic. That was a fun announcement.
