This morning Jack asked if he could have some strawberries. I replied, "We don't have any bud."
Jack, "Well how about an apple??"
Me, "We're out of apples too."
Jack, "Can I have a yogurt?"
Me, "Sorry, dude, no yogurts either."
I've neglected going to the store because Jack's still not going to the bathroom in a designated place. I figured I'd just throw a pull-up on him and go. So as I was hurrying to get ready to head to the store this morning, my friend down the street called and asked to borrow the Tahoe. She runs a day care and her Suburban had broken down. I agreed and figured we could make it one more day on a half a block of cheese and a gallon of milk. That's why we have food storage right?? I could try and go this afternoon but Juliet and Jack both take afternoon naps. Like I'm gonna poke that bear. *snicker*

I can SO relate...only I don't have a good excuse like a possible bathroom emergency on isle 6 with a cart full of groceries, I just hate going to the store with kids.
Period.
I had to borrow milk from my MIL this morning. That's how dire the situation is. :)
