Have you ever noticed that a girl rarely has Jr. attached to her name? I've seen Robert Downey, Jr., Dale Earnhardt, Jr. but rarely if ever a girl? There's no Evelyn Wells, Jr. or Susan B. Anthony Jr. Weird. If you think of anybody, let me know.
I don't know any famous female juniors, but I have a friend who named her daughter after herself, making the baby Marcia, Jr. She ruffled a lot of feathers when she named the baby, but she pointed to the fact that men do it all the time and no one blinks an eye. Maybe she'll start a new trend?
Wahoo, I'm glad to hear some ladies out there are doing it. It's not my thing. I was not attached to my maiden name and wasn't interested in keeping it. My Aunt was named after my grandmother (her mother) but everyone just called her little Maxine.

Anna Eleanor Roosevelt, Jr., and Carolina Herrera, Jr.
