I have to have one good snow storm a year and it's here!! On Sunday evening, it snowed and left a good 4-5 inches at our house. The kids were in and out of snow gear all day yesterday and we built a snowman! I even had icicles on my house! I can't remember ever seeing icicles in St. George!! I don't know how people who live up north do this ever day! There was snow gear everywhere, the floors were wet by the garage door and my Tahoe is filthy. Merril and I had fun driving home in the snow after the SuperBo
wl. We'd taken two cars so we hit the parking lot by our house and had fun doing donuts and making the back end drift. Merril's new tires grip the road too well so the Tahoe was better for getting the back end to slip. It's good practice for snowy road conditions.

Storms like these make me grateful. We can have a little taste of the snow but most of it's gone by the next day.

I"m with you...I love being able get to snow when we want, but not having to deal with it every day. And trust me, when you live in it, you get used to it. we had a whole system for our snow gear, and got pretty fast at dressing two kids in full gear for what was sometimes only a walk to the car...definitely not moving back up there!
I love the cute little icicles on your house! It definately takes more preparation and motivation to get out of the house when you have to deal with heavy snow in the winter. I hope we can move down your way soon!
"Its good practice for snowy road conditions" Ha ha, nice way to justify it! Whatever it takes I guess.
It must have been a big snow storm...after all your snow man isn't covered with leaves and dead grass! Happy winter!
